Flanagan 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml
$93.00
91-93pts-RP: Revealing more charcoal, black currant, and new oak characteristics along with the earthiness that comes from this site, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep and full-bodied with an impressive texture as well as sweet, soft, silky tannins. It, too, should drink well for 15+ years. As is often the case with top-notch wines, quantities of these cuvees made by Philippe Melka for proprietor Eric Flanagan are relatively small. There are about 500 cases of each Cabernet Sauvignon.--Robert Parker, Wine Advocate, 12/2008
Winery Notes: The 2007 Cabernet delivers power and finesse. This wine releases the warmth of the vintage and retains the minerality, balance, and pure black fruit characteristic of our site. The aroma is an unfolding story of mocha, vanilla and black fruits and it is very focused on the palate with a super-pure cassis front and mid-palate that resolves into a finish that is just like the bouquet. This wine will age effortlessly for many, many years.--Flanagan Wines
